Today I went to see my urologist to get the results from the CT Scan on Monday and schedule my surgery to remove my stints. This is the X-Ray they took showing my stints and stones.
According to the CT Scan I have stones in both kidneys. Next week I'll be admitted on Wednesday and with have the surgery on Thursday to remove both stints and stones from my left kidney. In a month I'll go back to get the stones in my right kidney removed. My doctor said I will spend at least two days in the hospital to recover. I really hope to be home by Mother's Day. I don't want to spend so much time away from my girls!
As much as I'm ready to get these things removed from my kidneys and back to normal I'm not looking forward to spending up to four days in the hospital away from Ryleigh and Reese.
