More Memorial Day Fun!

Ryleigh and I ended our Memorial Day Weekend at Poppy and Laylee's house. We met Sha Sha, PawPaw, Aunt Co Co, Uncle Dusty, and cousins Kai Kai and Caleb there for some good food and swimming!

Brandon came over and joined us after he got off work around 6:30. It was a nice way to end a great weekend. Only 4 more days till summer!

Memorial Weekend Fun!

Our weekend started out by going to my cousin's high school graduation! Lance graduated from Allen High School at UNT on Saturday. WOW! Was that a lot of seniors graduating, about 1400 of them! Luckily Lance's last name starts with a "B" so we left after he got his diploma and headed over to Babe's!

On Sunday we went out to Paris, TX. Ryleigh was excited to meet Carter and swim in his pools. It was HOT! I wish I was small enough to have gone swimming too.

Once Carter and the other babies went inside to get out of the sun Ryleigh played in the baby splash pool.

She kept saying "Get your camera Mommy. Take my picture!"
She sure knows how to pose for the camera!

Today Daddy had to go to work so Gramz and Papa came over and went swimming with us at out community pool. 

It was VERY WINDY and the water was still a bit cold.

After swimming we went to Dairy Queen for lunch and Ryleigh had her first ice cream cone!

It was yummy!

The fun isn't over. At 4:00 today we're going to Poppy and Laylee's house for swimming lessons with Sha Sha! I'll post pictures tonight.

Ryleigh's First Dance Recital (Plus Video)

Today was Ryleigh's first dance recital! She takes dance through her day care. The recital was small but it was fun to see her dancing around with other girls. She was shy at first once she saw other girls not participating but she finally decided to show off what she can do! There were about 8 girls in the class but only 4 of them would actually give up and dance. They performed 4 songs, then showed us their ballet walk and ended by showing up how they can Arabesque and Curtsey.

Ryleigh's Tractor

Last weekend while we we're out at Gramz and Papa's house Ryleigh saw the neighbor's mowing with their tractor. Since then she has been asking her Papa for a tractor. "I want a tractor Papa." 

So...

Blood Sweat and Blisters... JUMP!

Ryleigh's trampoline I ordered on Friday came in the mail today! Of course as soon as I got home I had to put it together... easier said than done.

Got the frame up! 

"I'm sitting in the trampoline, Mommy!"

This was the HARD part... putting the trampoline mat together with the "springs".

Some skin was ripped off in the process...

"Yea! I can jump now!"

Our neighbors have a "big girl" trampoline so she's been asking for a purple trampoline she can jump on. It's not purple but she still loves it!

No Rail

We've made it 3 weeks without the toddler bed rail on the bed! We had to remove the rail not by choice. Wednesday night during TAKS week Ryleigh was sick with a 24 hour stomach bug that led to the removal  of the rail. Much to my surprise she has not fallen out of the bed and loves it! I can't believe how much my little girl is growing up. I guess the next step is buying her a real big girl bed! I'm hoping this bed will last at least one more year for her.

Noise Control

We bought Ryleigh headphones so she can listen to her IPOD but most importantly so she can watch movies in the car and we don't have to listen to them! We're driving to Disney World this summer so this was must buy! She actually likes them.
