Good Bye 2011
Today is New Years Eve and that means it's the last day of 2011. Lots has happened this year and even though it's ending in a lot of physical pain and included 2 surgeries for me I will miss 2011.
Here's a summary of what happened this year:
January
It snowed!
February
For 4 days we were iced in the house and missed school.
It snowed up to 12 inches.
Daddy turned 27
March
Mommy had her tonsils removed and was in pain for two weeks!
April
Went to the Dallas Arboretum to take Easter photos
May
Daddy went to the Jimmy Buffet concert
June
Ryleigh went to the dentist for the first time
Ryleigh had her tonsils and adenoids removed
July
Mommy turned 27
Ryleigh went to her first Rangers game and we were all on Rangers Live after the game
Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 4th anniversary
We drove to Disney World and Destin, FL!!!
We went to Josh Hamilton night at the Ballpark
August
School started
Ryleigh started taking dance at Sheena's Dance Studio
September
Found out we were pregnant!
Ryleigh turned 3
October
Mommy got a new car
Mommy got a new car
Rangers go to the World Series again
Daddy bought a classic car
November
Felt the baby kick for the first time

Mommy went to the ER twice for kidney pains
Found out it's a girl!
Mommy had surgery to place a stint placed in her left kidney.
My favorite month was July! Going to Disney World and seeing all the fun Ryleigh had seeing Mickey and going to the Rangers Games were the best.
I'm looking forward to what 2012 has in store for us. What I'm most looking forward to is meeting my baby girl, Reese Emerson!
Silly Ryleigh
Gramz, Aunt Cecile and Great Grammy were a big help while Mommy was in the hospital and at home recovery. Here are some pictures of the fun they had together.

20 weeks
Christmas Eve marked 20 weeks in this pregnancy and was also when the pain and nausea started up again. Tuesday I had surgery on my left kidney to insert a stint hoping to elevate the pain. We finally got home around 2:00AM on Wednesday. I was up sick all night and in a lot of pain. Luckily we had an appointment with my OB in the morning to check on the baby. Because I wasn't able to keep anything down and was in so much pain they decided to admit me into labor and delivery for a few days. By the end of end of the day on Wednesday I was able to keep crackers down. Since I was able to keep pills and food down they discharged me around 6:00 Thursday evening. Even though I'm home I'm still in a lot of pain. I'm hoping that it goes away soon so that I can function normally again.

Christmas 2011
At 6:30 we all woke up to see what Santa had brought the night before. Ryleigh was so excited!
She named her twin babies Molli and Matthew

Around 1:30 we arrived at Grandma's house to celebrate Christmas with her.
Then went to Aunt Diana's at 4:00 to celebrate with the rest of the family.
After the kids opened their stockings from Gg-ma we all played games inspired by "Minute to Win It"

This one you have a box of jingle bells tied around your waist that you have to get out of the box.
This one you have to scoot the cookie down your face and into your mouth.
This one you have to get the ribbon wrapped around the other yard stick.
This one you have Vaseline on your nose and have to get the ball stick to your nose.
This one you have to stack all the cups up then collapse them into one stack.
Despite getting sick Christmas Eve night and twice on Christmas day I enjoyed seeing my little girl enjoy the day.

Christmas Eve
Last year we started the tradition of making Santa's cookies and Jesus' Birthday cake on Christmas Eve. Ryleigh was excited to start cooking once we got dressed.
She was a big helper mixing the cupcakes up.
She enjoyed licking the chocolate off the beaters!
While the cupcakes were baking we put the reindeer food out in the yard so Santa's reindeer had a treat to eat while Santa was leaving our presents.
Next we started cutting out the cookies for Santa. Ryleigh enjoyed making her own with her rolling pin.
Once the cookies were cooked Gramz and Papa came over and helped decorate the cookies.
Here's the cupcakes for Jesus all iced and ready to eat on Christmas morning.
After we opened presents on Christmas morning we put candles in some of the cupcakes and sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus.
At 1:30 the girls went to the Christmas Eve service at church while daddy headed over to PawPaw and Shea Shea's to get the turkey started.

All the cousins: Caleb, Cambrey, Ryleigh and Kaileigh.
The kids had fun seeing if they had been naughty or nice by playing a game on Aunt Coco's phone.

Before dinner we opened our stockings. Ryleigh was excited about everything!
Then we opened presents. She was excited about all the clothes.
She named her baby Reese but calls it her "Sassy baby" because she has a sassy (pacifier).
While we were at PawPaw and Shea Shea's having Christmas with them Gramz and Papa had dinner at the Gaylord! Then we all met back at our house for stockings from Gramz and Papa before going to bed and waiting for Santa.
She liked her little sister Barbies.
Cookies and milk are out for Santa. Now it's time for bed!
