Easter Egg Hunt at Mommy's School

 Last week my school had an Easter Egg Hunt for the faculty and staff's kids and grandkids. The girls had a lot of fun and Ryleigh got A LOT of eggs!

March 1 we went to The American Girl store to get a birthday present for cousin Kaileigh.

Just another Saturday morning playing dress up! Here she is "Back Stage" before coming out to perform for me and Reese.

In Khols we saw this large floppy hat. It was so funny Ryleigh had to take a picture

This past week Reese was feeling bad and feel asleep on our bathroom floor while I was taking a shower. She never does that!

 Reese's outfit for her first birthday came in this week!

Ryleigh was playing on my phone and took some pictures of herself. This is what a 4 year old's "Selfie" looks like. 

I was trying to get ready for a dinner party we were having and Ryleigh wanted to help me feed Reese. She did a great job feeding her yogurt! 

This week Reese's teachers made them all these Easter Hats. I had to get a picture!

Reese Emerson is 11 Months!

Reese-y Cup you're 11 months! I can't believe in just one month you'll be a year old. I still feeling like yesterday I was pregnant with you! You spent your 11th month birthday running earns with Mommy, Daddy and sister then had friends over for dinner. (You weren't feeling good)

You are pulling up all over the place but scream when you want to sit down because you're afraid to sit you by your self. 

You're talking a lot more. Not so much real words but you're trying to. The only real words you'll say are Da Da and Ma Ma

You are starting to understand what we say now. You like to eat the rock fire place and when told "NO" you know to stop and go do something else. When you want more food you start to scream but when we say "more" and sign it to you, you start to pat your hands together. 

You love to play "Patty Cake" and "If You're Happy and You Know Clap Your Hands"

You love to be hung outside down and tickled!

Now that mommy is running you gone a few jogs with her and love being outside.

You were ready for bed when Mommy tried to take these pictures and weren't having it. When I was satisfied with at least one smiling picture you laid down in my lap.

You've had 3 ear infections at this point and possible another one. We don't like seeing you unhappy. 

You are still:

- wearing size 4 diapers
-wearing size 12-18 month clothes

- drinking 5 oz of formula from a sippy cup 3 times a day

- drinks 6-7 oz from a bottle at bedtime
- eating anything we give you

We went to the doctor this week since you had a fever and weren't feeling well. At that visit you weighted 20 lbs 1oz

I'm looking forward to your Reese's Peanut Butter Cup themed party next month! You are my Reese-y Cup!

Spring Break 2013

Spring Break this year was nice and relaxing. We didn't go any where but it was a lot better than last years spent in the hospital! Monday the girls went to school and I had a mommy day at home. 

Tuesday Reese went to school and I had a mommy day with Ryleigh. We spent in watched Sophia the First then went to Chuck E Cheese. She had fun playing the games and getting tickets. Afterwards we went to Shelby's and got our hair trimmed.

That night she spent the night with Gramz with MaKenna and their matching outfits!

She insisted MaKenna do the splits for one picture.

Wednesday Reese stayed home with me and we had a day just the two of us. We spent part of the day in the backyard swinging, we went for a run and played around indoors. 

She loves to stand up now! This was in the morning looking outside at the backyard. 

She likes watching Sophia the First too!

Here is she playing pick a boo with herself! She was so cute covering up her head then laughing when she took it off. 

Thursday and Friday Ryleigh spent the days with Gramz and Papa out on Uncle Glenn Wayne's boat fishing for the first time. Here's her first fish!!

She loves the outdoors! Here she is ready to go on the boat! She called me that morning and said "I'm on the boat Mama! I'm not scared!" 

I recently started running on my treadmill just as a workout then I started to really enjoy it! So I decided to start running 5Ks! My friend Allison and I ran the Dash Down Greenville that Saturday! It was so much fun and was the first of many I plan to run. 

Here we are just about to start!

We did! My time was 38:36. I jogged the entire time! This was my fastest time I had done!

Reese loves being outdoors and had a great time. She enjoyed the parade too!
