Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve Gramz and Papa spend the day with use while we make Santa's cookies and Jesus' Birthday cake. Then that night we do Christmas with Paw Paw and Sha Sha. 

Ryleigh was super excited to get started making the cookies. 

She has her own rolling pin she uses to make her cookies.

Gramz helped Ryleigh with this one. She would tell us what color icing to put on and where then she would sprinkle on the sprinkles. 

Reese had fun hanging out in her highchair eating snacks. 

Santa probably went into a diabetic coma after eating our cookies!

Ready to go to Paw Paw and Sha Sha's

When we got home from Paw Paw and Sha Sha's house we made the reindeer food.

Then sprinkled it out on the lawn. 

Reese was already in bed so we just got a picture of Ryleigh with her cookies for Santa. 

Before bed we did the stockings from Gramz and Papa.

At 11:00 Ryleigh went to bed so Santa could come! :)

4th of 5 Christmas's

Last night on Christmas Eve we went to Paw Paw and Sha Sha's to celebrate Christmas with them. Poppy, Laylee, Uncle Dusty, Aunt Coco, Caleb Kaleigh, Jack, Uncle Chris and Aunt Jill were there too. 

The girls had fun playing with their cousins and visiting with everyone.

Ryleigh helped Sha Sha pass out the presents.

Ryleigh's favorite gift was "Madagascar 3" (Afro Circus Afro Circus Polka Dot Polka Dot Polka Dot)

Reese had fun playing with the box and tissue paper from the gifts. 

3rd of 5 Christmas's

Sunday, December 23 we celebrated Christmas with Carla (Grandma). Gg-ma, Aunt CoCo, Caleb and Kaieigh were there too!

Ryleigh got a doll that sings when you brush her hair from Aunt CoCo.
Reese had fun playing with the tissue paper from her gifts.
Ryleigh got "Brave" from Grandma and we had to watch it once all the present were unwrapped!

Reese is 8 months old!!

You're 8 months old Reese-e-Pooh! You spent the day at Grandma's house celebrating Christmas with her, Gg-ma, Aunt Nicole, Caleb and Kaileigh.

You've grown up so much this month. You're trying to crawl by getting on all fours and rock back and forth. You've also started waving at people and saying "hi". 

You were sick for the first time this month. The week after Thanksgiving you had croup and stayed home for three days. Then the next week you had an ear infection and stayed home for two days. You've been well for the past two weeks and then your nose started running today. Hopefully it won't turn into anything.
(Update: Friday I took you to the doctor and it turns out you have another ear infection)

You are still:

-wearing size 3 diapers

-wearing size 6-12 month clothes

- eating 3oz of breast milk mixed with 2oz of formula

- eating baby foods, now between 2nd and 3rd foods

You now of 6 teeth! The four on top all came in at the same time. 

You've been introduced to the sippy cup and recently figured out how to drink from it.

 Sunday, Dec 16 we celebrated Christmas with Pa Pa's side of the family at our house.
