The girls and I went to the pool for the first time on May 24. Ryleigh was so excited and couldn't wait to start swimming. Reese was happy till we got to the pool.
As we were putting our stuff down on a chair Reese started her I'm scared cry and clung to me. I guess I couldn't blame her that day wasn't sunny but the water was warm.
We sat on the side of the kiddy pool while Ryleigh played. I tried to put her in her float but she didn't want anything to do with it.
Ryleigh had a great time like she always has!
She even walked all the way across the big pool! She was too afraid to do this last year even though she could stand up. I'm so proud of her! Maybe next time she'll show off her swimming skills!
I'm hoping this first trip to the pool isn't a glimpse of what the summer hold for us at the pool!
