Monday night on the last week of school Reese was not a happy camper from 6:00-10:00 screaming and crying. Nothing we did would calm her down and we knew this was not at all like her. By 10:30 I'd had enough and took her to the ER. Turns out she had a really bad sore throat. The next day I stayed home with her. If she wasn't sleeping she wanted to be outside on her swing. By the end of the day we had gone outside 4 times! Luckily by time she woke up from her afternoon nap she was back to her happy self!
The students voted for who they thought should be "Teacher of the Year" five teachers won and I was one of them! (and the only female teacher too!)
Saturday night afternoon my last day of school and 2 graduation parties we had dinner at On the Border! Reese has always been a good eater but I was pleasantly surprised when she loved the guacamole!
Next we heading to Lowes to pick up a few items. The girls had fin riding the car together.
That same week we sadly sold the Chevelle so we could pay off credit cards and get out of debt. I haven't parked in the garage in over a year. It felt weird the first few times I pulled in but I'm enjoying it! It's a lot more convenient that parking outside.
Next week I'm one of the Host home for our church's VBS. Looking forward to seeing all the kids.
The next time we went to the pool Reese had a good time playing in the water.

Got the Mom of the Year Award this day when Ryleigh made it out of the house with two different shoes and I didn't see it till after we left! When I asked her why she said, "I couldn't find the other orange shoe."
