Christmas Eve marked 20 weeks in this pregnancy and was also when the pain and nausea started up again. Tuesday I had surgery on my left kidney to insert a stint hoping to elevate the pain. We finally got home around 2:00AM on Wednesday. I was up sick all night and in a lot of pain. Luckily we had an appointment with my OB in the morning to check on the baby. Because I wasn't able to keep anything down and was in so much pain they decided to admit me into labor and delivery for a few days. By the end of end of the day on Wednesday I was able to keep crackers down. Since I was able to keep pills and food down they discharged me around 6:00 Thursday evening. Even though I'm home I'm still in a lot of pain. I'm hoping that it goes away soon so that I can function normally again.
