So Brandon has been wanting to get me a new car for awhile but I kept telling him no. I loved my car and we were so close to having it paid off! But I guess I'm going to have to get used to never paying a car off when my husband works in the car business.
He sold me on it by letting me know we were getting more money for my old are than what it was worth and since my warranty was almost up it would be smart to get a new car before the baby comes.
Here is what I told him I wanted in my new car:
1.) Room for two car seats
2.) Room in the back for a stroller and shopping bags
It has the same amount of room as my other car which is great!
Plus it has back up sensors and a camera so I can see what's behind me!
I've got bluetooth for my phone and my IPod. So now I'm hands free!
It also had heated and cooled seats (I could have used those this summer!)
So here she is! A 2010 Lexis RX 350.
Yep, I've already got my Rangers magnet on it. (Brandon won't let me put my flag on the new car)
I had to take some photos of my old car. It was sad to leave her. She was such a good car and we got such an awesome deal on her.
New vs. Old
When I handed the keys over to the salesman he asked me "Are you going to cry?" It was bittersweet leaving her behind.
Ryleigh was such a trooper! We got to the dealership at 10:00 and didn't leave till 12:30! She was ready to go but she behaved for Mommy and Daddy.
One thing I'm excited about is getting to keep my old plates. Since I had specialty plates I get to keep them and put them on my new car.
This one doesn't have a DVD player in it but I'm really ok with that. I'd rather Ryleigh listen to music or just look out the window while I'm driving rather that watching a movie.
I sure this will be a great car for our growing family!
