10 Weeks (again)

So I went to the doctor today and the baby is measuring at 10 weeks and 4 days but my doctor still wants to go by his/her original  measurements so she says I'm 9 weeks and 5 days today, with the due date still May 12, 2012.

Today the baby's length is measuring a little over 1 inch and we could see his/her arms today.

Food has not been my friend this week. I haven't been able to eat breakfast and keep it down and yesterday I wasn't able to eat dinner. Luckily I've been able to get to the bathroom before getting sick in front of my students. If I'm not getting sick then I'm nauseous. My students have seen a difference in me this week. One student offered to bring me Ginger ale and saltines to keep at my desk.

I've so been really tired too. I would love to take a nap during the day but we all know that's not going to happen. I try to go to bed as soon as I can but 9:00 seems to be the earliest I can get to bed. Brandon has been helping me out a lot by taking care of Ryleigh when he gets home at 7:30/8:00.

I was craving pickles earlier this week but haven't been able to find really good SOUR pickles. I did get the ok from my doctor today to eat turkey, chicken or ham lunch meats. When I am hungary and have a craving it always seems to be for a good ole' sandwich. So after my appointment I went to Panera Bread and got my favorite sandwich, The Bacon Turkey Bravo, with extra pickles on the side.

I haven't had to really dig into my maternity clothes from my pregnancy with Ryleigh just yet, but I have worn 2 maternity shirts so far. No maternity pants just yet but have gone up a size in some of my dress pants just for comfort. I can actually squeeze into my regular pants but no one really wants to see that.

A few weeks ago we ordered the crib and one of the dressers for the baby and it came in the next weekend. Right now they are still sitting in our garage. Brandon put in flooring up in the attic so we have more room to store things and we got plastic tubs to box of the items we want to keep that are still in the baby's room/guest room. I just don't have much motivation to start cleaning that room. I'm not sure where to start. Although I'm really excited to pull out all the baby bedding. We're just reusing the stuff we used in Ryleigh's nursery since it's gender neutral.

So far I've only gained 2 pounds! I was excited to see that number since my hips and butt, unfortunately, are growing. (plus some other body parts)

"GO RANGERS!"

  1. I'm sorry you don't feel well! I was like that with Gavin. I had the 24/7 nausea and exhaustion. I felt like it was the world's longest hangover. Praying you feel relief from it soon!
