Today was Ryleigh's frist visit to the dentist. Dr. Rubin's office was very kid friendly and inviting.
Ryleigh had fun playing with the toys before her name was called.
Since this was her first visit instead of having her sit in the chair she sat in my lap and laid down on the hygienist lap to get her teeth cleaned. She doesn't look to happy right here but when it was all done she said, "that was fun mommy!"
After Dr. Rubin looked at her teeth and gave her a good report she got a bouncy ball and a token to get a toy out of a machine. She chose the tattoo.
The tattoo on the left was the one from the gum ball machine the one on right was in her welcome bag.
Afterwards we went to the mall and rode the carousel.
She didn't want to sit on the horses.
Then we got a snack.
While we were eating she saw Goofy at the Disney Store! So we had to go ;)
I wasn't planning on buying anything and she wasn't asking for me to buy her stuff, but the PJs were on sale. So... I thought she could use some fun PJs for her surgery on Friday. Plus, the cups with straws were 2 for $10 and she's going to be drinking a lot of water after her surgery so... we got a Minnie Mouse and Tangled cup and Ariel and Tangled PJs.
Friday she's geting her tonsils and adenoids removed so I'm trying make the before fun so the after isn't so hard on her. But that's easier said than done. Please keep Ryleigh in your prayers. She'll going into surgery at 7:30AM this Friday.
