I can't believe that it's been two months already! On Saturday, June 23, Reese, you were two months old. You spent the day hanging out with the Nicks Family then Grandma and Kaileigh while Mommy and Daddy took Ryleigh to the Rangers game. Then you were such a sweet girl while Mommy and Daddy were at the Toyota dealership trading our cars in.
You're starting to have better head control and lifting it up. You still love tummy time and are starting to scoot off your mat! You're even trying to roll over!
You started laughing last week and smiling! You also make the cutest facials!
Here you're looking at your big sister, Ryleigh. She loves to give you kisses and play with you. She says that she's "the best big sister!"
When you lay on your back you kick your legs and arms while cooing, laughing and trying to talk. I love your sweet sounds.
You're sleeping great! You slept through the night for the first time on May 25. You wake up only once for a feeding (around 2:00 or 5:00) then will sleep till 9:00! You were still sleeping in our room in your "purple thing" but on June 25 you slept in your bed for the first time and made it through the whole night on the 26th! You've even started to take naps during the day in your bed.
You've started grabbing things this month.
Your two month check up with Dr. Gondol went great! She said you're doing everything you should be at this age and growing well!
Now you:
-are wearing size 1 diapers
- are now wearing size 3 month clothes
-you eat about 3.5 oz to 4 oz of breast milk (for a few weeks you were eating 4.5 oz but Dr. G said that was too much)
-you are awake more during the day
-weigh 10 lbs 5 oz (51%)
-height 22.5 inches (52%) (You grew three inches since the last visit to the Doctor)
-head 40.5 (87%)
-you're still eating every 4-5 hours
-sleep 6-7 hours at night between feedings
Mommy and Daddy love you to pieces! We both love kissing your sweet forehead!
