Every year just before Christmas we would go to a tea room and have our annual Christmas Tea with Grammy and my Aunt Cecile. This year since it's hard for Grammy to travel far we decided to bring the tea to her. My mom bought all kind of wonderful foods and treats to make the day special. We made two different kinds of chicken salads, a strawberry salad, scones and so much more.
Everything was planned for us to go down on Monday to have the tea at Grammy's house when the worse thing possible could happen. My Aunt broke her ankle! She went to the ER and they said she would need surgery on her ankle. This news really upset my mom but we went ahead and had the tea for Grammy.
My aunt finally had her surgery the Tuesday after Christmas. The doctor said it was the worse break he had ever seen.
