On July 7 Brandon and I not only celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary but we were on our way to Cabo San Lucas!! We had a minor delay on the trip down there, beautiful weather everyday but one and then a canceled flight on the way home! Needless to say we enjoyed our time away but are glad to be home!
Finally on the plane headed for Mexico!
Leaving the airport headed for our hotel! I felt weird drinking a margarita in the car!
We arrived to hotel around 1:00. Ate lunch then headed to the pool! All I wanted to do while we were there was drink, read and soak up the sun! I ended up finishing 3 books while we were there.
That night Brandon ordered me a tequila shot! It was gross!
The next day it rained all day. We so we sat at the bar, drank and read.
Brandon smoked his Cuban Cigar.
The rest of the days were beautiful!
Going to dinner that night at the Mexican Restaurant at the Resort. They had 4 restaurants to choose from : Mexican, Japanese, Steak House, Mediterranean or go to the buffet. For lunch they had an Italian restaurant or the buffet.
This night there was a lady there with the same dress on as me! It was weird she was from a completely different state!
The entertainment staff recurited me to dance while we were waiting for the show that night to start.
Nothing like reading and drinking all while you have this beautiful view!
Last Day! Enjoying the sun!
That night we wanted to get some REAL and GOOD Mexican food. The food at the resort wasn't as good as we remembered it to be and started making us sick. Brandon heard some people talking about The Office so we tried it out.
It was amazing and I couldn't stop eating it! Brandon told me to slow down but I didn't listen and I got sick that night. OOPs! At least we had the iPad so I could watch "FRIENDS" on Netflix and connect it to the TV!
They guy was going around pouring shots of Jose in your mouth! It was a lot better that the shot I had the first night!
We ordered one beer and one margarita and they brought two of each!

So we thought Thursday was our last day in Mexico and that we'd be heading home but after three different delays with our flight it ended up being canceled till the next day. The airlines put us up in the Best Western by the airport that night. The next morning we thought we would be leaving at 8:00 to find out their was another delay. Needless to say their were at least 30 pissed off Americans in Cabo on Friday morning. Finally at 8:45 we were off back to Dallas!
